By installing and using the KlikNote browser extension, you agree to the following terms.

1. Use of Service

KlikNote is provided as a local-first browser extension for personal or professional note-taking. It operates entirely on your local machine using browser-native storage (IndexedDB).

2. Data Ownership & Responsibility

You retain 100% ownership of all data you input into KlikNote. Because KlikNote does not sync to cloud servers or back up your data externally, you are entirely responsible for managing your data, including regularly utilizing the built-in Export Wizard to create local backups.

3. "As-Is" Provision & Limitation of Liability

KlikNote is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. The developer (support@kliknote.com) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages—including but not limited to loss of data, notes, or productivity—resulting from the use or inability to use this extension.

4. Intellectual Property

The visual designs, brand assets, extension architecture, and original code comprising KlikNote are the intellectual property of the application creators.

5. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension following an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
